The Czech government has approved the bill amending acts including the Energy Act (Act No. 458/2000), the Act on Supported Energy Sources (Act No. 165/2012), and other related acts. The bill is known to the public as Lex OZE II. Lex OZE II introduces a number of changes including the following:
REMA PV Systém, a.s. (now XSOLAR REUSE SYSTÉM a. s.) no longer has a license to operate a collective system for solar panels. It is not registered in the list of subjects with the necessary permits published by the Ministry for the Environment.
The long prepared and hotly debated law was passed a few days ago by the Lower chamber in its third reading without opposition and will most likely come into force on 1 July 2023.
