Arthur Braun is the managing partner of bpv BRAUN PARTNERS and leads the M&A practice. In addition to this area, he also specialises in corporate and commercial law, competition law, employment law, Czech and Slovak market entries and German law. During his practice he has been involved in hundreds of transactions of foreign and domestic clients.

High penalties loom – employers as members of a cartel

For some months now (and years after the first announcements by the European Commission and the Czech Antitrust Office), local employers have had to prepare themselves for increased inspections and dawn raids by the antitrust authorities. Clients have already had the first such dawn raids.


Advising MAHLE regarding the Czech aspects (share transfer and various carve-outs) of selling its thermostats business.

Congrats to our Prague team, Arthur Braun, Pavel Březina and Klára Procházková, who have assisted in a multijurisdictional transaction (legal lead: Jones Day Frankfurt) with the Czech legal aspects of automotive supplier MAHLE selling its thermostat business division to ADMETOS.
