On 28 April 2025, the State Environmental Fund published a new call for grants, through which Czech applicants can access funds from the European Modernisation Fund. There are four new calls in total.
The first one, RES+ No. 1/2025 marked Photovoltaic power plants up to 5 MWp with self-consumption, in which a total of CZK 3 billion is allocated, is intended to support the construction of photovoltaic power plants up to 5 MW for the production of green energy for self-consumption on the territory of the capital city of Prague. Applications will be accepted from 1 July 2025 to 30 January 2026.
RES+ Call No. 3/2025 Photovoltaic power plants on public buildings is filled up to CZK 1 billion and is intended to support the installation of PV power plants on public buildings in small municipalities. The application period for this call is also from 1 July 2025 to 30 January 2026.
The third call, RES+ Call No. 4/2025, also targets the photovoltaic power plant segment, as it is intended to support combined municipal and community PV projects with an installed capacity of up to 1 MWp. Also for this call, CZK 1 billion is allocated and the application reception will take place in the period from 1 July 2025 to 30 January 2025.
The fourth, RES+ Call No. 5/2025, in the total amount of CZK 2 billion, is intended to support the storage of renewable energy, i.e. it targets the construction of battery storage facilities and the accumulation of energy in hydrogen, pumped storage hydropower plants and other similar facilities. However, there is more speed in applying for support in this call, as applications can be submitted as of yesterday and must be submitted no later than 2 June 2025
