The international law firm bpv BRAUN PARTNERS provided comprehensive legal advice to HORNBACH regarding the construction and opening of a new concept store in Trnava. The sixth HORNBACH store in Slovakia was officially opened on April 22, 2026.

bpv assisted the client with key legal aspects of the project, ranging from the acquisition of the land and due diligence related to its transfer to legal issues concerning permitting procedures and construction.

Legal advice was provided by a team consisting of Igor Augustinič, Monika Kardošová, Zuzana Dzilská, and Juraj Gazda.

Igor Augustinič, Partner at the Slovak office, stated “We greatly appreciate that we were able to be part of this significant expansion project on the Slovak market for HORNBACH, our long-standing client in several countries across Central and Eastern Europe. We recognize that this is not just another one of HORNBACH’s many stores, but a facility that stands out, among other things, for its technological and environmental innovation.”
